The mighty gum

Went for a woodland walk yesterday.....I did pick up a leaflet but I left it so can't remember the name of the place but there were lots of chickens free range wandering about amongst the trees.

Loved the light on these enormous gum trees.

Back at number one sons until Friday.

These gums probably came from Australia but I won't hold that against them!
They have lovely trunk colour and texture and provide shade! Though i have to admit we felled a grove on our old property because of growing too high and danger of falling over!
