Thrift

This very large stone trough was outside the kitchen window at the old farm.
When we sold up 17 years ago the new people thought we would leave it behind & were most disappointed when we loaded it up & brought it with us to our new farm.

It stands near our back door & always looks lovely.

Three good things:
1. I am moving about much better than I thought I would today, I haven't used my crutches once!
2. A visit from Lydia who is home from uni for a few days.
3. Harry has power washed all the garden furniture.
Things are looking up! Lovely shot!

You must be feeling fragile and not wanting to put much weight on that foot! It would have been very heavy to move, that trough!

much too lovely to part with Pat.

Those troughs have far too many memories to part with! Take it easy on your leg - it will take time to get those muscles back!
Just wanted to drop a line letting you know that I do drop in a couple of times a day to see who has been posting. So sorry I haven’t been posting or commenting, will get back in a couple of days after finishing with our accountant. I am still around!
