Lydia came & helped me take everything off the dresser today.
I washed & she dried & then put everything back in place.
As you can see not much has been moved off!!
Lydia & her friend are going Interailing round Europe in the middle of next month so she needs to earn as much money as she can. She is working at the cheese place for three days & I can find her some hours too.
Three good days:
1. A Spring cleaned dresser.
2. A new Prime Minister with no long drawn out election, best for the country to get on with it!
3. Lathams custard tarts.
@gijsje Yes & perhaps everyone will calm down & gather together somewhat, everyone has such strong opinions at the moment. The markets & have risen a big so hopefully in the next few months the government can work out what's best for the country.
I bet the crockery and such will look all sparkling now! An open dresser gathers no moss, but does gather oily air! I didn't know there was a new Prime Minister! She looks capable and a bit like Thatcher!
So lovely to hae all the pieces sparkly clean and shining on the dresser again ! I am sure you were pleased to have a helper -- job shared is a job halved !!
