Our visitor from New Zealand set off for Wales this morning.
I took her to the railway station & just in time remembered to use my phone to take a selfie of us both.
She was a delightful guest, very chatty & full of enthusiasm for her trip round the UK.
I think our scarves look great, mine from Sizergh Barn & Jill's from Trinity College in Dublin, lovely jewel colours of the Book of Kells.
Another G&T drinker too!
Three good things:
1. Very helpful staff at Preston railway station who printed off a paper with all the stop & platform stations for her on how to get to Bangor from Preston.
2. Jill was very friendly & brought out the best in officials showing she was suitably grateful. If you are nice to people they will be nice back.
3. A warm waiting room.
I think the word, chatty is good but the word chatterbox is different! My SIL never stops talking and so becomes the latter - would prefer just the 'chatty' !. You both have great smiles! And Wales is so beautiful!
