A quiet Sunday morning by happypat

A quiet Sunday morning

A filler as I have been so busy I've never had my camera out today.
Lots of B&Bers in & inbetween we've been out for our lunch. Came back & finished the beds & now slumped in the chair in front of the TV.
I hope Planet Earth 11 is not as nightmareish scary as it was last week with those snakes chasing the baby iguanas!

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my photos when I haven't left one on yours!
Back to normal pretty much after today!

Photo taken two weeks ago in Bo'ness.

Three good things!
1. Doesn't seem to be too much damage after a severe earthquake in NZ. Our granddaughter Alex was the nearest near Christchurch & her house rocked backwards & forwards but she's ok..
2. Roast beef & Yorkshire pudding made by another hand but enjoyed by me!
3. Instant communication to stop us worrying!
I also really like this shot, Pat. Yes, instant communication, how wonderful in such a situation!

Gorgeous to see the lake so flat - an abundance of photo opportunities here when you visited! I love the sound of Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding but like to make the pudding myself. The restaurants' ones are always so dry!

@brennieb Same here Brenda, you don't need this of that & she's right! Have a great time in USA seeing your son, you must be so excited! Safe travels!

@quietpurplehaze Yes indeed Hazel, Alex was onto her phone straight away so her mum & dad knew before it was on the news.

@julzmaioro it would be scary Julz, a very odd feeling! William felt it in Zmorrinsville, I haven't heard from the others near a Raglan but not worried.

That's a very calming shot......hope you've had a long look at it after so much busyness!! And so good to hear Alex is ok. Jonathan's friend is married in Dunedin so hope to hear about him and his wife soon. Very worrying for the folks over there and the aftershocks are very unnerving! Go gently!

@sarah19 Yes quite a bit of damage round the place I took my WWW photograph in the spring. Centred round Cheviot where we stayed.

Lovely shot, good to hear your family are safe in New Zealand. David's cousin lives at Rotherham on South Island, quite close to the epicentre of the quake. Luckily his house is ok, but lots of damage inside, where things have been shaken off the walls etc.
