Reaching for the sun

One from yesterday in the sun. Surprising how pretty these little dead thrift flowers look all dried up.

Sorry for my lack of commenting last night, we are out again tonight too so no need to comment on my today's photo. Quite uninspiring but have to do my daily quota!
I must also add here that I can spell FOR it's just my one finger typing that always seems to hit on the I instead of the O!
When I've checked my comments recently I think, goodness I've spelt it wrong again, sometimes I notice & sometimes I don't, very bad last night three typo errors in one sentence, I blame the wine!

Three good things:
1. I have been sorting clothes for the charity shop, quite a pile of stuff to go. I have thrown anything out I haven't worn in the last two years.
2. The relief of trying something on thinking it too tight because of extra weight & finding it's a smaller size!
3. Parties at neighbours down the lane!
This is a wonderful natural and earthy composition!
Always enjoy your three good things, Pat. Kudos to you for the major clothing sweep. I've been doing the same thing.

I'm reaching for the sun, too, Pat. Found a bit today. @jesperani I was just going to write that it's a bit awkward when you get the vowel wrong in 'shot' when I saw your comment - and now I've written what I was going to write anyway!

@jesperani @quietpurplehaze you have to be so careful & check before you hit the button, even then the darn thing does as it pleases! I have often written the sh...t word but my worse one is writing dies instead of does, its weird how often it completely changes the sentence! I have changed it twice in this comment! The same problem as FOR only in another word!

A lovely capture.

Always fun to read what you have written even if it does require a bit of thought! Spell check has a lot to answer for! I wonder why you had clothes of a smaller size - I seem to have some too!

pretty little dried flowers still make a nice image. I've been getting rid of a few clothes too. Some I've never worn for years and dont really know why I kept them. Still a bit of a squash in the wardrobe.
