A lot nicer than it looks!

A day in the Lake District today!
Lake Windermere & the Langdales.

As I do B&B I get lots of leaflets left in the front porch to give my visitors.
This year the chap who delivers the Lake District boat ones gave us two free family excursion passes.
We used one of them today & sailed on the steamer Teal from Ambleside to Bo'ness.

We had a lovely day with sunshine & warm weather but on the way back the clouds came in but no rain until we got in the car when it absolutely threw it down. Quite difficult driving on the motorway but thankfully arrived home safe & sound.

Three good things:
1. Delicious chips.
2. Boys had fun & enjoyed the boat trip.
3. A funny tin mug for Harry who stayed at home catching up with the mowing making ready for a big party on Saturday.

Those clouds look thick and the rain would be expected. It is after all, the Lake District! Fun to go out on the boat for all!
