The first peas that this little chicken pox boy has tasted straight off the plants.
Took him a bit to get the hang of eating them raw but loved the taste.
We have been taking slates off our daughter & son in laws outhouse today prior to the builders coming to knock it down for a new extension.
A very sore Chichen Pox body today, Finn has some massive blisters poor little thing, you can't even pick him up.
Chicken pox is certainly a pain - both literally and figuratively!
But, raw peas will be a treat he will now look forward to every year! I find it so hard to grow enough to freeze now - they get eaten before they make it to the kitchen!
A great shot of a happy boy.
@dide Yes really bad luck Dianna, we have to stay away from crowds too which really restricts us where we go. Last week too but Max is with other granny for two nights.
How can you resist that little smile and face ! Smiling through all those spots and blisters ! Fresh peas from the garden must be the magic potion -- the best way to eat them !!
@cruiser No I forgot to ask when I went to the doctors Chris. I had shingles in early May & it did cross my mind to ask about it next time. I was in the wrong age group & is it too late when I already had shingles?
