My friend Shelley & her husband Allan came to our house today for soup & sandwiches.
We have known them for many years when our children were small & I am Godmother to their son.
Allan was the gamekeeper on the nearby estate when we were farming at Inglewhite.
Always cheerful & good fun they are so good to chat to so we've had a lovely afternoon.
They brought beautiful white roses & oh dear a big box of cream cakes!!

Three good things:
1. There were two cakes left so I gave them our lovely postman, out of temptations way!
2. Friends that go back years.
3. Reminiscing.
