We just got back from visiting farming friends around the Kendal area.
After lunch they took us a ride out to feed the sheep. Lots of very narrow roads we lost our bearings completely, if they had put a blindfold on me & turned me round I would have felt as disoriented & I’m usually pretty good at knowing which direction I’m facing! Beautiful countryside though.
Three good things:
1. Yummy sticky toffee pudding.
2. A delayed start to healthy eating!
3. All travelers safely back.....well Jack is three quarters back by now I should think.
Such a wonderful open country rural scene with the sheep dotting around in the meadows Nice to visit old friends Pat , and catching up with all the news! Nice to know that all the family are back safely in their home !
It’s on my bucket list to visit that part of the country. I’ve another 18 months flitting back and forwards between the U.K. and Philippines. All I have to do is stay fit:).
