Sorry Cathy! I took this photo through our daughters window as she struggled to hang out some washing!
Not a great day to go & take any photos today it’s such a cold north wind, getting in every nook & cranny in the house. It’s just bitter.
Three good things:
1. Double glazing.
2. A staple in the end of Cathy’s clothes prop....we managed to bang it in the end to keep the pole attached to the line.
3. My feet done!
What a lovey sight - love to see the washing out on a proper wash-line and not on a titchy whirly gig like mine !! Its been very cold and windy here too with hail and rain in the wind at times ! I must admit most of my washing is dried in the dryer except on the hot days in summer !
@maggiemae It was a very drying wind but the dryer does make a nice job but she’s like me if I can dry them outside I will! Less & less people seem to hang the washing out these days partly I think because most are out at work all day!
@beryl My smaller things are hanging above the Aga Beryl, the sheets are in the basket waiting for better times tomorrow! Mine is a wirlygig too but a really strong Australian one.
It really was wild yesterday! I have opened the front door this morning to find bits of the cold frame around the garden and some recycling on the lawn!
Nice to get your feet done. The cold wind didn't harm Cathy's hands then. 😊
