All the way to Taupo the broom was in full flower.
Bright yellow flowers against the turquoise waters of the lake.
We had take away pizza on the shores....
Lovely sunny day but quite a nip to the air.
So lovely to collect the boys from school & see their smiling faces!
They would have been SO looking forward to seeing you - a solid place in their lives! Broom is about down here too - October, its gorse (damit) and November, the fresh yellow of broom!
How lovely for the boys to have you collect them from school. They'll be wanting to take you to school tomorrow for 'show and tell'! A nice image of the yellow broom.
Oh that is gorgeous! One of my best memories of NZ is the turquoise water against all that lovely yellow broom and gorse. Sounds like you are having a smile a minute with your lovely family :)

How beautiful!! I visited NZ at this time of year and we went to Lake Taupo on our trip. This brings back such wonderful memories. I would love to go again!! Enjoy your visit with your family!!
