I took my car into the garage this morning for a service & repair to the heating system. I. I normally go to the dealer where we bought it but this time I thought safer & easier to use the local garage.
Harry was picking me up but I started to walk & took this shot of the river just as it was getting lighter.
Walked across the new pedestrian footbridge for the first time.
Three good things:
1. A good 7km walk in the sun.
2. I went against my principles & we bought some fruit & veg in the lovely little village veg shop. You know my feelings on the lack of safety precautions in there but it was empty & local.
3. Some nice small potatoes to have with our fish tonight.
I'd happily walk 4 miles if this were the walking landscape. Simply beautiful! Glad you had an opportunity to stop in the vegetable market when it was empty of customers. I'm a stickler for safety precautions too. Stay safe...hopefully you'll receive your vaccination soon and not have the worry! xx
Fav for me Pat. The girls in our local have been the slowest to wear masks - don’t know how they’ve avoided the virus - but they have capitulated with the new strain which is good because there’s a lot of it about in the local area which is generally quite deprived. The veg is excellent though and not much plastic involved.
Beautiful photo and glad your shop wasn't busy. I think I might risk a trip to Inverurie at the weekend as I'm really missing some fresh salad items from M&S!
@judithg The veggie man wears nothing Judith & no plastic shield up....I thinks it’s downright pathetic they won’t spend the money! I have been boycotting but it’s so handy so we went in.

I misread you 7km as 74m! I need to go to spec savers for sure! Fav
