What a welcome sight this was after my eye operation.
All over with but it was far worse than I imagined! Only a cyst on my eyelid but it was a tricky procedure getting rid of it...surgeons words not mine.
I never expected to have to go in a surgical gown into a proper operating room full of green coated nurses...sure they were just on duty but I was rather taken aback.
A very painful injection into my eyelid & a smell of burning as they cauterised it & then stitches!
Hopefully that’s the end of it!
Yikes!! I wouldn’t like the burning! You’re right about the metal Spire teapots being welcome though - you’ve taken me back to having my frozen shoulder ‘popped’ and it was hard to drink the tea for shaky hands. I was completely unprepared for how much it would hurt.
