Summer walk

Beacon Fell was a completely different place to the last time I visited. Then we were only there five minutes as it was thundering & lightening & Connie & I beat a hasty retreat.
Lovely today & as it’s only a couple of miles from home it will be the new walk.

Three good things:
1. I made myself useful today ironing etc etc while Cathy was at work.
2. The kitchen units will be ready earlier than we thought!
3. I’m reading Shuggie Bain. Not sure what I think at the moment…it’s very gritty but persevering! It won the Booker Prize so it’s rated highly.
