Not like me to post in black & white but I had a play with this & quite liked the result.
Lots of children up Beacon Fell this morning when I took Connie out. They were all having great fun. Such a lovely place to visit especially if you live in a town with not much access to greenery & nature.
Three good things:
1. Harry had his new hip operation this morning. Went down at 9am so not much hanging about! I can’t visit if course but have spoken to him on the phone.
2. I have ordered the two sofas..20th September delivery date.
3. Some great women’s tennis this afternoon.
Great news that Harry’s op is done, and hopefully he will be home in a few days.
I have been reading lots about the importance of free play in nature - so these kids are lucky - risk taking, teamwork, problem solving, calm environment etc etc
Phito looks great in b&w.. I remember camping with one of the kids school group years ago kids had to make a bivouac and spend the night in it Parents and teachers got tents.. We did the kid check after dark and here was a possum asleep on one of the kids pillow... and of course it was the child of the helicopter parent that was back in the tent... shooed possy of and never told the parent..
Black and white works well, looks nostalgic, nice to see kids still having creative fun outdoors. Yay for Harry…best wishes for a speedy and uneventful recovery.
Great spot - may be instead of a residential trip. And great news on Harry’s hip - fixed before he does more damage to knees etc. I was allowed to visit my dad so maybe they’ll let you in - mind you a lot more Covid about now.
Wishing Harry all the best!
