So lovely to see Lydia tonight.
She has popped over from Newcastle upon Tyne for her mums birthday.
She’s meeting up with one of her uni friends so called in when she was passing.
Three good things:
1. A wonderful lunch out at a friends house….six of us & Brenda always puts on amazing food….we came home with chocolate cake too.
2. A present of a beautiful lily plant from friends this morning.
3. My arm is not as sore today although I definitely am not at my best after my booster covid jab. I slept really badly but hopefully do better tonight.
Such a delightful portrait of Lydia - she simply glows and looking so happy . ( and co-ordinating so well with the colours in your crochet blanket ) Sounds as if you have had a lovely day - so pleased your arm is better by today ! fav
What a super portrait and a delightful smile! Hope you are soon over your ssssore arm. I had my flu jab this week, haven't heard about the booster jab yet
Lovely shot of Lydia. Hope your arm is better now. Not sure if we will be having booster shots. They are talking about it for immunocompromised people, but not sure if all older people will qualify. I think they are saying now that Pfizer and Moderna booster shots will be used but not AstraZeneca. Not sure how that will mix for us as we had AstraZeneca for our first two shots and if we do qualify for boosters can you mix the two.
@onewing I had AstraZenica for the first two shots Babs but this time Phizer! Harry has had three Phizer! Lydia had had her booster that day too but she’s NHS staff. Think they are boosting all over 50’s here & vulnerable patients.
Lydia is such a beauty! I know you loved having her drop by. Good for you for getting that Covid booster, Pat. A sore arm would pale in comparison to a full blown Covid infection!!
Your friend catch up sounds wonderfull.
