Harry & I pulled the double layers of plastic covering off the door I painted yesterday.
Lovely to be able to see right through it!
Three good things:
1. Busy day with visitors today. The blind man came to adjust the blinds. Harry’s hearing lady came & checked his ears again & a friend popped in who is happy to have my charity stuff. I put the last if it in the car & drove it to her house.
2. One of the things I took was my mums old sewing machine. I have used it lots in the past but no one from the family wanted it….I couldn’t bring myself to take it to the tip last week so hopefully someone will pay a few pounds & take it home.
3. Lots of new photos from NZ.
4. Almost forgot to mention that we had Sir Cliff Richard staying at the Cartford Inn after his sell out concert in Blackpool on Sunday evening! Just down the road from us!!
What a lovely peep of your house through the doorway.
You would have thought Sir Cliff would have called in to see your new house while he was in the neighbourhood wouldn't you. Maybe he doesn't know that you are world famous too, ha ha.
@sangwann No he stayed overnight at our local Inn down the road but no one knew until after he had gone! It pays to be discreet when you run places like that !!
@peggysirk I had a chuckle about that- was momentarily confused as our bedroom fitter is deaf! You’ve done well parting with the sewing machine Pat - I have two (relatively modern) ones inherited from my mum - I don’t use one really but I can’t part with it yet (they have their own slot in the new bedroom!) but I did chuck out some bits and pieces with her handwriting on today. I could hear her saying, ‘Don’t be ridiculous!’ as I dithered.

Your doors look amazing. As does the view inside of your beautiful living area!
