I’m slowly taking you through my Newcastle photos so hope you’re OK with that…
After our shopping trip we had a delicious meal at the Pan Asian restaurant called Geisha.
It’s food I really enjoy & it lived up to expectations. Cathy, Garth & Lydia had been before so they booked it again for me.
It was very busy as you can see!
Three good things:
1. I had my very first cocktail!
2. I’ve been sorting out the spare room trying to get a bit more space in there….gradually getting on top of it.
3. More stuff for the charity shop.
Such a delightful oriental scene - love those lanterns - and so many of them ! - looks so cosy . Looking forward to see your Newcastle experience over the next few days !
Such a fun vibe with that colorful decor! Your 'first' cocktail?? Really? Good for you with your clearing/sorting out project, Pat! I've become an expert at that. ☺
Love the interior decor! Looks like a nice place. I'm wondering what you chose for your first cocktail? I'm not a big fan of cocktails in general, but I love a home made cosmopolitan ... it's such a fresh drink ... cointreau, vodka, fresh lime juice and cranberry juice. It packs a punch though! I am always disappointed in a bar though as it is usually too sweet. Cheaper at home too! ;-)
@jamibann I had no idea what to pick Issi but chose one called Geisha in the Garden.
Botanic kiss pink gin, ginger ale, cucumber, mint & fresh strawberries makes a delightful refreshing cocktail perfect for sipping on those long summer days!
Good description, it was delicious but quite sweet I agree, I wouldn’t want more than one & at £8 perhaps not anyway but it was a treat & made the evening more special. I should learn to make my own perhaps!! 🤣🥰
Must have a go at yours!
Lovely looking place. I cannot believe that was your first cocktail!! You're due a trip down here, Dave will concoct you something (that doesn't cost £8 😂)
What a gorgeous restaurant that must be. This is beautiful. My son moved last week and at one point I called him and he said he was throwing all kinds of stuff away that he had moved. 😊
