Before the cupboard was built yesterday I had towels stacked up on this shelf in our bathroom.
All nicely folded away out of sight & I have been & bought a plant. I think it might do quite well in this humid warm atmosphere.
A Peace Lily as many if you will recognise…..I hope it thrives & grows & peace comes to Ukraine.
Three good things:
1. A lovely trip to the garden centre, so many plants, trees & so well stocked.
2. Harry has mown the lawn.
3. Good job I bought diesel yesterday….the price has rocketed from £1.60.9 to £1.79.9.
How on earth can that have happened in one day?
Such a lovely plant for your bathroom , and it should thrive in the humid atmosphere ! .
Quite scary at the how the price of fuel has rocketed - this will no doubt have its effect on food and and all sorts of things !
I love shelves like these in the bathroom. And I love your peace lily. We were given one when we had our bathroom done and the leaves grow well but we haven't had flowers for a long while! I wonder what I am not doing?
Wow that is a fuel jump!!! I filled my tank last weekend but not sure what the difference is now. And Harry cut the grass....WOW!!! You definitely have warmer climate than north east Scotland!!
@sarah19 The grass had just grown a little after these last few sunny days. He cut it on a high bar but it does look tidier. I think the plant will want re posting pretty soon to be honest…a few roots coming out of the bottom already!
We have an open cupboard in our bathroom just like this one. But I roll up the towels and put them all in there - looks quite good. Plants don't do well in our bathroom - no natural light!
I think I've got a plant like this - no flowers though!
Lovely! Agree with the rest. May The Lord put some sense in Putin's mind and bring him round to the negotiating table and sort out the differences between the two governments so that peace will reign once more.
