We are in Edinburgh.
We came up on the train from Preston this morning. Bought our tickets in the rail sale. £40 return for two of us.
We have eaten in the hotel this evening. So glad I booked as it’s raining outside so nice not to have to trek outside again in the wet.
The lovely Caitlin who is half French served us & very kindly heated my wheat bag in the kitchen microwave…she presented it on a tray beautifully.
I shall mention her in my hotel review.
I haven't taken one Edinburgh shot yet but shall make up tomorrow!
@phil_howcroft A wheat bag is a long bag filled with wheat & lavender which you pop in the microwave for about a minute. It’s a comforting alternative to a hot water bottle Phil. Ideal too for putting on a sore neck etc.
