Getting ready for the judging of Britain in Bloom competitions.
We are all asked to make our gardens as tidy as possible so I planted up these two tubs today by our front door.
We haven’t done the drive yet so it’s a bit messy round where they have done the drains still….spoils the affect a bit!
Three good things:
1. Warm enough to sit out in the garden all afternoon.
2. Harry has been out all day, first to a local farm sale & then he’s been weed killing our friends ménage while she’s on holiday.
3. A few Union Jack bunting going up around… I shall get our out of the loft tomorrow!
I can see the name of your cottage now - Copp View. I suppose we would call it 'Valley View' as we don't use that word unless it applies to the men in black! This looks so nice and the flowers are already blooming!
Come to think of it - thought i might be confusing it with "copse"
@maggiemae Copp is a very tiny cluster of houses with a school & a church we can see over the fields maggie. We didn’t care for the name at first & were going to change it but after all the building work etc plus it’s quite a procedure we couldn’t be bothered…well I couldn’t be bothered as it would be me that did it.
