A stitch in time…

I actually sewed a button on today!
I can’t remember the last time I had to do that!
I’ve been ironing & sorting out what I’m taking to Ireland on Wednesday.
Usually I’m on the last minute but this year no b&b & a spare bed to put my clothes on means I’m very organised this time.

Three good things:
1. We’ve been to Garth & Cathys for a BBQ tonight …..Ruth, Garth’s mum came too.
2. A bad nights sleep but I’ve not been tired today!
3. I’m wearing my lovely summer earrings!

I do very little button sewing and the like now though have a jersey I only bought a couple of months ago that has got a run in it so best do a repair on that..

Fun to read what others say about buttons. My mother had a woven basket of buttons that we could play with when we were children. It was magic.
