The new flower shop

I called in to Pollen our newly opened flower shop after my visit to the hairdressers this morning.
It was lovely inside with lovely flowers, plants, vases & gifts plus thankfully lovely good quality cards.
Something odd about this photo if you look carefully. The legs are separate from the body.
Not being used to the layout it took me a minute to realise those are my legs & Scarlet the owners body.
The front underneath the counter is all mirror!

Three good things:
1. I do like a special good quality card so hats off to Pollen for coming to my rescue!
2. A good short haircut….I was desperate!
3. I followed Penny Lancaster’s recipe for shining her leather police boots….my Doc Martin boots have had a wax & spit & polish….Harry thought it very unhygienic! Not sure I would bother again but they are shiny.

Looks a lovely shop and so funny to see those legs of yours and no legs on the assistant. Lucky you explained about the mirror otherwise we’d have never worked it out.

That's hilarious.. I was puzzled. Sounds like a great shop. Our little flower shop has just closed down and a fish shop is opening in its place so that's a little different .. hopefully it goes well..

Ha ha ! I had been struggling trying to figure out the legless body and the bodyless legs! Ha ! so good that you explained the mirror counter front! Such a lovely elegant looking shop I hope they will do well!

Ha ha doesn't it look weird. The reception desk at one of our bowling clubs is just like this and you very often see dismembered legs and bodies etc.

I suppose the mirror reflects all the plants that are on the floor and it looks such a big area with lots of plants! But the mirror is not reflecting the small table on the right! Its a different table......and also not reflecting the grey mat! More mystery!
