We had a bbq today & it was so hot we had to escape inside.
We turned a sofa round so we could face the garden but be out if the sun.
Another bbq tomorrow as we don’t want to waste this lovely weather.
Not a very interesting photo but it’s what we e done today!
You might see the sun parasol on the ground upside down on the right.
We had a gust of wind which lifted it up out of its stand, thankfully it didn’t fly onto the road this time!
This evening it’s cloudy…..there could be chance if a bit if rain overnight hopefully.
Not sure bad problem.to have.. You may need a sail.on your deck.. gives shade and can't fly away..
Lovely to sit in the shade but enjoy your garden as well.
After an early walk with George we have stayed inside in the cool today. It looks like tonight is going to be a hot one and I’m not looking forward to it! Enjoy your BBQ tomorrow.
Pat, it all looks lovely! By coincidence we also had a parasol (and its table) turned upside down by the wind a day or so ago. Found it when we came home from an outing!

We love those sails you see so much in NZ. Not seen here much but it’s an idea. We had a heavy spell of rain with thunder & lightening last night. It’s cleared the air a bit but still very warm & going to be a hot day. The garden is thankful.
Love these modern "open rooms" and how brilliant to have this capacity. I could wish for an old fashioned stripy awning attached to the house to be outdoors without being in it. 30º yesterday was wayyyy too hot for this English rose!

That would be a perfect addition Casa. We have a small overhang which we can sit under if wet & shelter from the sun but the garden faces south so gets very hot. Love it though. It’s like the south of France in the summer.
Yes Judith this is the old bungalow we did up after moving from the farmhouse…a bit different isn’t it. Had to think of our ages!!!!
