Off to the football! by happypat

Off to the football!

Scotland versus Wales tonight at the Millennium Stadium so the train was full of kilts & legs. Unfortunately I deleted a better looking Scotsman than this by mistake...sorry!

We had rather a long winded journey home yesterday as there was damage to the overhead lines at Lockerbie.
We had to get an earlier train which went via the Ayreshire coast which would have been lovely if we had actually seen any sea.
Change trains at Carlisle with people standing in the isles & we got to Preston at 2.30pm instead of 12.11 even after setting off an hour earlier!!!
All sounds a bloody nightmare.......poor you BUT just love this shot, fabuloso.....you do know they don't wear knickers don't you?!!

Oh blimey - that takes me right back to my student days. I stood all the way from Nottingham (where my sister was living) to Preston once and the train went via Chester - randomly - it pulled into Chester station, stopped for 30 mins, backed out and then went back to the line it was supposed to be on. I was exhausted!! Everybody else had booked seats and after 4 hours a man offered me a seat just as we pulled into Preston...
