Yon distant hills. by happypat

Yon distant hills.

Pretty boring photo & believe me you do get fed up of looking at fields.
When we lived on the last farm where Harry grew up we were half a mile from our nearest neighbour & surrounded by fields.
If it was foggy you couldn't see another thing all round you so when we moved to this farm in 1999 & had neighbours for the first time, it was very strange.
I do like living in the country but love the buzz of a town & people.
The hills in the distance are where we used to love & we go back very regularly as our daughter & friends live there.

This field is next on the list for the plough.
Ah but they are so lovely when the spring wheat starts to grow!! Gorgeous sky you have and lovely pov Pat!

I feel the same about where I live - fed up with the same views, and we don't even have hills around here. You're lucky!

Places like this have a lovely sky view - always beautiful except when raining of course!

As one who lives in the city, I think this scene is beyond beautiful. The hills in the distance are the icing on the cake.

You can see for ever. A beautiful landscape. We are lucky to live in a busy town but a 10 min walk takes us into the countryside.

Nothing boring about it. It's crisp, it's clear, and it conveys the feeling of something about to happen.

If you allow your eyes to wander to the distance places, it is there where you find additional beauty. I personall;y do not find it boring

I like it viewed large - I have a four lane highway and telephone wires out my door. Your view is much nicer!
