Harry & I love rhubarb at this time of the year & think it's just the tonic you need in bleak January.
This forced ruby red fruit looks so pretty in a bowl.
@jgpittenger@maggiemae The local supermarket sells this pink forced rhubarb which is specially grown in the dark sheds around the north east of England I think. I just stew it for about 5 minutes or so & then add some sugar...it is delicious!! A sort of compote.
