@peggysirk Not this time Peggy, we have in the past but to be honest the cyclists are so packed together it's a job keeping from running into people so we have given up...was tempted last night though....such a beautiful evening.
i have a soft spot for the lights, my gran whom worked in most of the cotton mills around the Oldham Stockport district..went every season....i always think of her more during this season.
@tsingtao Of course it was THE place to go on the annual works holiday week, not a bad place to go either...always something to do what ever the weather. If you haven't been lately you would be amazed at the promenade now & they are spending a fortune every year on regenerating....the turn of the area round the old bus station now.
