I wonder if any one knows what this Lancashire dialect saying means?

Absolutely, I was spitting feathers yesterday as we were out all day and I only managed to fit in 2 cups of tea all day. I had to catch up when I got home though and had three cups straight after one another. No wonder I had a headache all day. I always get a headache when I have withdrawal symptoms from lack of tea.
