Licking the spoon

I got in such a mess today with my posh Mary Berry cake. I decided to use the food processor as she recommended but first had to ring Cathy to see how everything fitted together.
I never normally use a food processor when baking & I got in such a mess....half the mixture was left in the bowl & on the beaters.
The cake looks good though so all turned out well.

I enjoyed licking the bowl!!

@kwiksilver Hi Gillian yes I do like my camera but on reflection I might not have bought this actual one.....the compactness of it is brilliant but all the lenses very expensive....it works very well for my type of photography which is on the spur of the moment stuff. I can take off the view finder & longer lens ...put on the pancake lens & it's just the same as an ordinary compact camera. Have heard the other day that Olympus is in trouble financially so might have picked another Cannon if I had my time again! Thank you for your kind words.

Oh Annabelle loves to like the bowl. I made Mary's Victoria sponge by hand, goodness I thought my arms were going to drop off! Must get me a mixer:0) is there a shot of the cake? Must go and see

Licking the bowl is the best bit, but if you lick the beater blades remember to turn off the power first. ha ha.

I never liked raw cake mixture either! Good to make the cake and just rinse all the stuff off quickly I find! The smell must have been nice as they cooked in your good oven!
