We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours sitting outside The Kings Arms in Hawkshead listening to The Boxcar Band. Sounded American, two guitars & a fiddle.....they were excellent!
Afterwards we climbed up the path to Hawkshead church & looked down on the band & spectators.
No good things while I am away...all good things but I am only posting quickly so will leave them out.

Happy Birthday, Pat - the first such greeting here for you! These three good things take such time to think about! Interesting roof lines here with the chimneys which are probably not working now!
@maggiemae just asked son in law & he says all the chimneys are puffing smoke in the winter....quit an old fashioned place, they will all have wood burners!
