I remember when the boards in New St Station in Birmingham were the old clickety clackety sort. I kind of miss the clickety clackety noise of the boards changing over. Is there a sign I am getting old?
These shots remind me of why I could never have been a commuter. I can cope with London for a couple of days but the excitement and novelty soon wear off. My son lives there now. When he comes home the first thing he does is to dump his luggage and take the dogs out. I can understand why!
@onewing yes they do Babs......we thought we might be delayed because of leaves on the line......that seems to be the thing these days! No delays & the remnants of the hurricane passing through too! We were 20 minutes late into Preston though.
@beryl surprising how you get used to it Beryl when you start doing a bit of traveling....365 meet ups help & you can always ask....people are very obliging! This is nothing to me after traveling half way round the world on my own!
