Lovely image. I have several damson trees and gin is always on the agenda. Mine is a little 'syrupy' this year and can tolerate being diluted slightly with ..... neat gin. Smacks a punch!

@motherjane mine is syrupy too but that's how I like mine....it was too weak the year before.
@busylady yes you definitely need a damson tree....mind you they are easy to get hold of in Sepember. We have really enjoyed our gin this year.
