Mud

Wasn't all pretty fields & green grass on our walk today!
As you can see we had a little bit of balancing on the edges of tracks to do....NB get myself a walking pole ASAP!

My word you must have had some rain. I hate walking in mud, just can't get up a good pace. It is dry as a bone here in the east. Photo made me chuckle

It was pretty dry most of the way but this last bit was really bad...good job we had a hedge to cling to! No it was a round trip maggiemae , we did turn round & look back when we got toothy end & thought we should have walked in the field but you don't know that when you set off! All good fun!

You must have been determined to walk. As a youngster, the mud would not have bothered me, I would have went right through it. But now, I would be afraid of slipping.
