A walk around the village of Downham which is situated in the shadow of Pendle famous for its witches folk lore.
The village of Downham is so picturesque with its stone house & tiny river running through it. Of course Downham was the place were Whistle Down the Wind was filmed.
Six of us walked today & it was pretty tough. Lots of hills & muddy tracks & it took us a long time to,walk about five miles. We didn't come of the hills until 4pm so it was just beginning to go dark.
Love the composition of this shot and such a beautiful view. What a gorgeous countryside. You all look so nicely bundled up. I really love those trees!
@phil_howcroft Well in the middle......I had to run up hill from the back to catch a couple of walkers in the shot! Back to my usual place afterwards Phil!
