Ooh Pat I read your reasons but I crave colour !!! This little wild flower (not weed !! ) is Herb Robert and a beautiful pink ,if I am not mistaken ! Like this cropped version better !
@beryl is that it's name, it smells quite strong doesn't it, not the flower but the whole plant & it soon comes up when you pull it! It us rather sweet & grows rampantly in our garden! I agree it's far better in colour, no idea why the class in the competition is for a black & white! Thank you for your info Beryl.
