This little Butcher Bird sat drenched on my clothesline under the eaves for over an hour! We have had 6 inches rain since last night with much more to come. Haven't been outside all day, who would want to!
Can't blame him for wanting to shelter. I can't imagine such rain, even when we had floods in Cornwall last year the rain was heavy but nothing like your amounts
I've been thinking of you Valerie after hearing about the cyclone on the news. I hope you haven't suffered too much damage. Well done for getting a shot of this little chap. I guess it's not a good day for outdoor photography!
A good day to hunker down. We get our rain at the end of summer too. If only it could come a little more evenly. Hope the little butcher bird makes it through okay.
Well captured, glad he found a place to shelter, hope the cyclone soon passes and you don't suffer too many problems, seems that indoors is the best place to be.
Stay safe and dry, even if it is indoors, It looks like you are in for quite a storm
