The birds can wreck the new bananas bunches very quickly. In Queensland we often' bag ' them for protection.

@skstein @koalagardens @hermann @ninaganci @pennystot @gijsje Thanks all, this was taken at the local community gardens the trees are laden, but, the birds like pecking them, they will have to bag them quickly. In Queensland the bananas are abundant.... @koalagardens Yes, Lots of banana smoothies!

Wow - that is an amazing amount of fruit! Reading the comments - it's not uncommon in your portion of the world - how wonderful. I was wondering what type of bird that is, trying to blend in and feast!
