With all the rain I hadn’t noticed this pretty orchid flowering in the back garden. Another from my younger daughter. Inside now to enjoy.

We buy orchid plants at the market and then fawn over them for months hoping they will live and their blooms won’t fall off within the first few months. To think you have them growing in your garden! These are so lovely.

A lovely orchid. We manhandled my big cymbidium in under cover before our recent spate of stormy weather hit. It's too big to bring inside!
