Golden Orb Spider ~

I'm reasonably sure.....
I saw this beauty in the web between two trees.
OMG! How huge is this spider?? Did you use a huge 600+mm lens?

Orb weavers aren't considered a significant threat to humans. ... Their bite is often compared to a bee sting and there are no long lasting effects from their bite.

Their web is huge & sticky but, they are beautiful.

Females are 4 – 4.5 cm long but the tiny males are only 5 – 6 mm long (body length). The Females can have a leg span of up to 15 cm! This one is a beauty!
