A Very Unpleasant Surprise ~

Aseroe ruba Mushroom .................... In my front garden.
Also known as .. Space Alien Fungus .. Anemone Stinkhorn ..
This mushroom appears in tropical & sub-tropical areas.
It features a central column that is topped by an array of short doubled tentacles.
Has the smell of rotting meat..We quickly & carefully dug it out!!
