St. Andrew's spider & Web.

In my Garden..Thanks to all for helping put my Orchid Spray on the PP yesterday.. CAN anyone tell me why the web is blue???Each shot had blue web instead of white...
Not sure, but I think it's because the web reflects ultra violet and that attracts insects. Aren't they clever spiders.

I also love St Andrews spiders, ever since I did an assignment on them at college many years ago. Maybe the blue is reflecting off something else?

@beachdog Thanks Barb, could be reflection, I have tried 3 days & each shot the web is blue, I even tried my little 'point n shoot' camera & the same thing...
