Came upon the bat colony on our walk last night. Incredible sight, I shot way too many photos & had to choose two for posting.. At dusk they fly over Hervey Bay in their 1000's
Oh! Do they fly when there's enough light to photograph them? They look pretty big. The bats down in the Hill Country of Texas are smaller than these. Great photo!
