Bleeding Heart Dove ~

Not the clearest shot as this bird was very hard to photograph.
Listed among the most endangered are these elusive, shy, ground-dwelling Bleeding-heart doves, named for the colorful red plumage that looks like an open wound blossoming on their white breasts.
