I believe this is fox tail agave plant. It was really huge! I really love the different succulents and cacti you see in the Southwest. Thank you for stopping by! Best on black.
I know the agave sirup that I use in my kitchen, is that the same ?

@cocobella. It is from the agave plant. Online it said the juice is extracted from the plant core, heated and converted to a simple sugar. I learned something too...I would have thought the juice came from the leaves. Thanks!

Great shot! It does look huge. We have a lot of century plants in our area and they are in the agave family. Truly amazing plants. :-)
