Primary Colors by harvey

Primary Colors

I picked these guys up yesterday when I was out and about with a shot like this in mind for today. I love the colors of fall, although I must say the colors in germany pale in comparison to fall in my native western new york, as 90% of the leaves here just turn yellow. I also thought all the different patterns to the leaves would fit the lines theme.

We're busy packing up this weekend and I feel much more ontop of things both at work and at home, whew. We're very much looking forward to our wednesday flight.

Also I meantioned a while back my wife and I keep a blog of our travels, and a few people were asking for the link again. So if you are interested check it out at http://harveysde.blogspot.com/
also I just put up an albumn on facebook from our luxembourg trip http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2271325&id=2416450&l=8b53011b42
I love pictures of leaves. There are so many varieties and colors!

Beautiful collection of fall. These leaves do remind me of the East change of color. Have fun on your trip home.

This is gorgeous! When I was a child, we used to press leaves between two sheets of waxed paper and heavy books. When they dried, they could be framed. Your picture reminds me of that time - thanks!

This is a beautiful picture. I love the vibrant colors and the different shapes. We don't get many colors in leaves here in Colorado, some gold from the aspen, yellow from the cottonwood, but mostly brown and out!

Nice picture Steve. I agree that New England and the hill of New York have the best colors around.

I love the variety of colors and types, and you "styled" them beautifully for the picture! Even here in SoCa, I'm looking forward to our "Flowering Pear" turning colors...it's not much, but it's the best we've got for the season!
