Vivid Candles by harvey

Vivid Candles

I kinda skipped through the christmas market tonight on my way home as I had to meet my wife, it was FREEZING cold and I need way better gloves and I had to get to the bakery before it closed....

So I ended up just kinda firing some shots off randomly as I walked to the bakery, and I liked the look of these candle holders at one booth. I wanted a more straight on shot but some darn tourists where chauching it up and standing right in front of them so I had to settle for the side on veiw because waiting was not an option; did I meantion it was freezing and I need new gloves??

Anyways, I cropped up the shot I took and I do like the end result, lots of vivid colors which fits this weeks theme.

Nicely decorated candles. Warm up.

Great shot and on the fly as well. Excellent in spite of the tourists.

I think I like the shot even better with the slight angle you got there.
I am with you on the new gloves. Had to stop shooting yesterday because I could no longer feel the trigger.

Good thing the tourists were in the way! They caused you to get a better shot by shooting at a slight angle! I like the second one from the right on the top shelf!

@timandelke actually that candle was a little Aachen skyline! Thats why I wanted the straight on shot to focus in on it, but this angle works better for capturing them all.
