Sometimes you just have to protect what you have got.
We spent this morning Abbotsbury Swannery. This persistent little Coot was determined to get at the pile of grain that the Swan was protecting and this little dance took place for some time as the Coot plucked up courage to dart in and grab some grain only to be forced back by the swan.
