It rained almost continuously today and by late afternoon we had acquired several outdoor swimming pools (not to mention the start of some indoor ones too). This is a shot of our camp site all battened down. Our new tent is the one on the far right, as our old one (just off the shot on the left) was one that was developing an indoor pool.
And to think, we were planning a barbecue this evening. We went to a curry house instead!
Oh. Feels like a time we went camping at Malham where the rain rained in throught the tent as we were trying to pack everthing up. Try Eurocamp in France instead.
@mariadarby We were a little lucky in that it stayed dry until the tents were all up, and it was dry(ish) until around 10am on the morning that we packed them away. In between was the problem. We now have a tin of Fabsil to try and fix the old tent. Eurocamp does sound easier though!
